Tracy named her business 'Created by the Ridleys' because: She made an eclectic mix of things and from one week to the next didn't know what she would make and sell.""I was still working full time and spending my evenings and weekends with designing, cutting and sewing. In 2015 I started incorporating Harris Tweed into my designs and they sold very well! I was amazed and it encouraged me to keep going. However, I'm a Yorkshire girl and I don't like waste, so I started thinking about what I could do with the leftovers. Using Pinterest for ideas, I started making Harris Tweed jackets for hip flasks and for my own hand-poured candles. The range of items that Created by the Ridleys now makes and sells has grown significantly. Using only British fabrics and source all their components from the UK, Created By The Ridleys are committed to reducing their carbon footprint and making their brand as sustainable as possible. As all their packaging is made from recycled paper, they are committed to being a responsible manufacturer.Fast forward to 2023 - Created By The Ridleys are not only celebrating their 9th anniversary, but they have 3 more awards to their name.
