Since ancient times, olive wood has been valued for its excellent material properties and its warm-looking color. It occurs throughout the Mediterranean region and has been processed into consumer goods or artistic objects for centuries.

The wood we use must be carefully dried over a period of months, only then are the handle shapes turned. We then sand the surfaces, seal them with oil and polish them to a silky shine. This brings out the soft, honey-colored grain of the wood.

The Brush Head - Silvertip Badger Pluck

Among experts, the silvertip badger pluck is considered the crowning achievement: only the best, carefully selected badger hair is used for the shaving brushes, which are made entirely by hand.

The precious natural material is particularly soft and flexible. The fine, tapered bristles have the ability to absorb a lot of water and create a dense, creamy lather. Another quality feature is the so-called "mirror" - an even black band along the course of the predominantly silvery shimmering hair.

This premium product is manufactured using historic tools in a handmade process that only a few people in the world have mastered. In this case, the semicircular shape of the brush head is achieved by hand during the so-called tying of the brush. Therefore, the fine ends can be re-cut without and the natural softness of the hair is retained.
