Mühle - Razor "Kosmo" olive wood

A beautiful safety razor from the Kosmo series from Muhle. The handle is made of olive wood and the knife has a chrome closed comb with screw closure.

Since ancient times, olive wood has been valued for its excellent material properties and warm color. It can be found throughout the Mediterranean region and has been used for centuries to make durable goods or artistic objects. The wood must be carefully dried for months before the handles are turned. They then sand the surfaces, seal them with oil and polish them to a silky smooth finish. This brings out the soft, honey-colored grain of the wood particularly well. Chrome highlights are incorporated into the finish. The material is corrosion resistant, very durable and has a luxurious, seductive shine.
