Nomad Outland Whiskey carries the motto 'Born in Scotland and aged in Jerez'. This is an adventurous whiskey composed of 30 various malt and grain whiskeys aged 5-8 years, which continue to mature for another 4 years after blending, of which at least 1 year in ex-sherry barrels. This whiskey takes its inspiration from the beautiful Scottish nature. The makers of Nomad whiskey chose to distill it and mature it in American oak before transporting the whiskey to the heart of the sherry region, Jerez de la Frontera. Here this whiskey undergoes a finish in Pedro Ximénez sherry casks before being bottled.
The scent of Nomad Outland Whiskey is rich with malty influences, notes of oak and a hint of sherry sweets. Supple and elegant on the palate with subtle notes of raisins and honey. This Nomad whiskey has a medium finish with hints of vanilla and dried fruit that blend into each other.
